With a decade-long journey behind the decks, DJ TONK has carved out a niche as one of Barbados’ top open format DJ’s. Starting out in the EDM scene with a strong love for bass, eventually TONK transitioned into an open format DJ, learning soca, remembering dancehall from his school days, figuring out reggae and learnt how to seamlessly blend these ‘new’ genres he was learning with the bass he knew to create unforgettable musical experiences.
Currently, TONK holds court as the resident DJ at 6Mix Bar & Restaurant, a position earned through years of dedication and a deep understanding of crowd dynamics. His quality behind the decks has also graced other esteemed venues across the island, including memorable residencies at The Old Jamm Inn and Red Door Lounge.
